Dazhi Huang is an award-winning filmmaker, editor, and videographer. He holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and an MFA in Film Directing from California Institute of the Arts. His work delves into the intersection of politics, urban landscapes, history and intimate connections.
His films and animated music videos have been featured at major festivals, including Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, Animafest Gdansk, Wicked Queer: Boston's LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Queens World Film Festival, European Media Art Festival, and were shortlisted for Vision du Réel. His work has also been featured on platforms like NOWNESS and Stereogum.
